Bio:
Sheryl was a homemaker raising three sons for a number of years before continuing her education and returning to the workforce. After attending AIB and earning an Associates of Business Degree in Executive Secretarial and Business Administration in 1990, she began working for the Robert Pratt Law Firm, the predecessor law firm to Schott Mauss & Associates, P.C., as Robert Pratt's legal secretary/assistant.

Upon the appointment of Robert Pratt to United States District Judge for the Southern District of Iowa and the firm's transition to Schott Mauss & Associates, P.C., in July of 1997, Sheryl continued to work as a legal assistant to Max Schott while also taking on office management duties working into the position of full time office manager in approximately 2000. Sheryl also continued her education in the legal field earning the certification of Certified Legal Assistant with the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc., in August of 2000. Sheryl and her husband, Bob, live in Prairie City.
